Spanish Present Participles: the Active "ING"

The Spanish present participle is commonly used with the helper verb "estar" to form sentences. Estoy llamando = I am calling. Estás mirando = you are looking. Notice that there are just 2 endings you'll have to memorize, as you can see in this little chart.

Many visitors make their way to this rather isolated country to see the Jesuit missions founded in the late 1500s (featured in the 1986 movie "The Mission" with Robert DeNiro & Jeromy Irons).
