Descriptions: Estar + Past Participle
Estar + past participle is used to describe the state of things, or how
things seem right at the moment (but not necessarily permanently).
The past participles follow the patterns below, and change with the
gender/number of the noun they refer to. For example, la puerta está cerrada = the door is closed. Los perros están perdidos = the dogs are lost (do you spot the patterns?)

Past participles are also used in the same way “ED” and “EN” endings
are used with English words. The helper verb “haber” is used.
regular verbs
ha comido - has eaten
ha vivido - has lived
he hablado - (I) have spoken
he jugado - (I) have played
irregular verbs
ha hecho - has done
has vuelto - (you) have returned
han dicho - have said
hemos escrito - (we) have written
